BONE HEALTH
Bones rely on good nutrition, constant exercise and some essential mineral and vitamin elements for maintenance and well-being.
Calcium is essential for bone health, but just as important is having the correct amount of magnesium and vitamin D3 to help the calcium be more effectively absorbed and utilised by the bone structure.
As we age, bone density starts to wane and brittle bones are more susceptible to breakages and fractures. Supplementing with essential bone nutrition becomes more important and this is particularly relevant for females, as the rate of osteoporosis is much higher in women than it is for men.
Along with regular exercise, supplementing the diet with a calcium supplement can support bone health and reduce the risk of bone fractures.
Also support calcium, magnesium and vitamin D3, such minerals as zinc and boron can also support bone health.
